Bismarck Walk For Life
Last Saturday I had the privilege of participating in First Choice Clinic’s annual Walk for Life. Each walker raises support for the clinic ahead of time. My goal was $500 and I almost made it with $450. It was a partly sunny, chilly morning at first. But once we started walking, we warmed up quickly. There were about 12 people from our church, Prince of Peace in Beulah, including both children and adults. It was a 2-mile walk around Sertoma park in Bismarck. Unfortunately, because of high winds a few days before the event, almost all the leaves were down and blown away.
Along the route, there were cheerful signs with life-affirming Scripture and Choose Life statements. As soon as a total for the fundraiser is announced, I will let you know! There were walks to raise money for both the Fargo and Devil’s Lake clinics.
